As the owner / rider and developer of the TM 300 2 stroke FI bike, I feel a real description and assessment of the bike is much more realistic than the official description offered by TM Moto or some AI generated review.  So here it goes!

The Start of Finding Great Power from the TM 300 2T FI | Vid 1
As of 7-17-25, there isn't much to work with on the low performing engine of this 2025 TM 300 FI. Watch and listen as we go over the parameters, and let's do what we can do to find power! - The compression is only 165 PSI, which is way too low. - The power valve is an issue, as we discussed in the previous video. It doesn't stay closed for long enough. We don't have a solution for that yet. - Fuel and timing needs to be leaner on the bottom and the top, with more ignition timing. Nothing we can do for that at the moment, but we are working on it. - For now, we need more compression, around 190 / 200. I'm going to use the thinnest base gasket I have in my kit. Set the compression, and see how it impacts the bottom end.
Is the 2025 TM 300 2-Stroke FI Stock Power Any Good?

Is the 2025 TM 300 2-Stroke FI Stock Power Any Good?
The stock power of this new TM 300 2-Stroke is interesting to say the least. This is the power of a bike that would be bought off the show room floor and then programmed to run a little better. You can see when we compare it on the dyno to our stock 2023 KTM 300 XC/XS, the KTM beats it out by quite a bit. And we are talking bone stock. We addressed some of the stock KTM 300 issues to build up a great performing bike, and we are going to do the same here with this TM 300. Some of the stuff on this bike is pretty amazing, like this machined crank case. It has a large reed valve setup similar to a 500. Comes with a forged piston and a huge exhaust port, and a simple flapper type power valve. The valve doesn't seem to form a full seal when it's closed, resulting in some power loss. The cylinder head is screwed up, with a huge bowl, not very performance based. We are going to be addressing that shortly. So stick around and subscribe to The TM Dude as we build the ultimate TM 300 2-Stroke.

TM 300 2T Suspension is Amazing After This Fix. Easily Set Up for Any Rider
The TM 300 comes set up for a 200lb rider. Plus the tires are Maxxis enduro DOT approved tires. Great to make it street legal, but not the best for off-road traction. Here are the simple fixes I did to make it WAY better for general off-road riding, especially for my little 165lb body. The valving of the stock stuff seems to be really good. It's smooth throughout the stroke, which is great. Fine tuning can be done with springs, pre load and oil height. This doesn't require spending big bucks at a suspension place. If you buy your bike from THE TM DUDE, your suspension can be set up for you before we ship it out.
